PD-BIW stands for "Parameterized Rapid Design for Manufacturability of Body Components". Based on the seam lines of the body's curved surfaces and using a top-down design mode, it rapidly generates three-dimensional digital models of body components and performs early rapid manufacturability verification. It advances the analysis and optimization of automotive body panel stamping processes to the part design stage and gradually integrates the various component design modules into a complete body-in-white design system.
