The KMAS software was developed over eleven years (1993-2004). It was officially commercialized at the end of 2003 and named KMASTM. Developed independently by our company, it is a high-tech software with complete independent intellectual property rights, solving a bottleneck problem in the development of my country's body panel mold manufacturing industry. Practice has proven that KMAS software can effectively solve the problem of formability analysis of stamped parts and has significant application value in the mold processing industry. It features comprehensive formability analysis functions, high simulation accuracy, ease of use, and low hardware requirements. From its initial development to its successful application in the automotive industry, the KMAS software system has not only reflected the hard work of both older and younger generations of automotive professionals but has also garnered keen attention from many industry insiders. In December 2000, the KMAS software system and the integrated CAD/CAE/CAM technology for stamping molds independently developed by the institute won the first prize of Jilin Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. In 2007, KMAS software won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Award. Regarding cooperation, through rigorous testing and user verification of the KMAS software system, UGS and KingGrid have established a partnership. KingGrid has agreed to integrate the KMAS software system into UGS's latest NX software system, aiming to promote the KMAS software system to a wider international market under the premise of a win-win cooperation. As a result, the application scope of the KMAS software system is expanding, and its problem-solving capabilities are becoming increasingly stronger.
