KMAS/One step

Introduction:

        KMAS/One step using one step shaping algorithm (Onestep Codes) only based on products, aims to optimize the products several times in repeated simulations. First, input the mesh data of parts, set some parameters, you can quickly get the minimum roughcast shape, forming defects such as cracks and wrinkles, FLD, the results reflecting quality objectives such as elongation and thickness changes. It discusses product manufacturability, can achieve roughcast inverse calculating, and could quickly evaluate parts manufacturability.


KMAS/One step helps you:

        •Shorten your analysis time. For the average size of the mesh data, the analysis requires only a few minutes.

        •Blank shape prediction can be used to analyze early cost, arrange parts nesting, as well as optimize the design and reduce the times of mode test. The optimized blank shape could also be outputted in Nastran format for other applications.

        •Tooling defects such as wrinkling, cracking and other, FLD, thickness distribution will be predicted to optimize the product performance.

        •Simulation of parts forming process rapidly, provide evidence to more reasonable design.

        •Achieve more accurate crash analysis.

        Evaluate the processability of parts at the initial stage of design, improve the effectiveness and reduce the numbers of tooling design changes.


KMAS/One step Functions:

        Core module KMAS / one-step has been integrated in the SIEMENS | NX_PLM software systems, and launched to the international automotive and mold manufacturing mainstream markets in the fourth quarter of 2006 formally. Using one step shaping algorithm (Onestep Codes) for products, one step predicted and optimized the process of products. First, input the mesh data of parts, set a various of process parameters, get the final shape including forming defects such as minimum roughcast, cracks and wrinkles, FLD, reflect forming quality based on elongation and thickness value.
